#503 Show Summary (Dr. Donna Grigsby Show):
Dr. Grigsby is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics at the University of Kentucky. She is concerned that our children are overusing stimulants such as caffeine and ADHD medications, while forgetting basic health habits such as getting enough sleep before a test. If you didn’t wake up in time for our show, take a listen to this rebroadcast.
Tip: According to Dr. Grigsby, water and low-fat milk should be the drinks of choice, especially for children and adolescents. Sports drinks and energy drinks are not good choices.
