Braidy Impact Begins

There’s already been a ripple effect caused by Braidy Industries’ decision to build a $1.3 billion, high-tech, aluminum rolling mill in Greenup County.

In preparation for the factory’s 2020 opening, Ashland Alliance President and CEO Tim Gibbs says Braidy recently acquired Massachusetts-based, Veloxint Metals…which will construct a supplier plant near Braidy’s planned facility in the East Park Industrial Center.

Gibbs believes that action is just a small indicator of the great effect Brady will have on the area’s economy…

Braidy Industries is expected to announce a date for a groundbreaking for its 550-employee factory at East Park in the coming days.
