Two men accused in connection with an incident where shots were fired at an Ashland police officer are now in custody.

Frank Joliff Jr.  of Catlettsburg and Danny Halley of Ashland were arrested yesterday by the APD and members of the US marshals service.  Police Chief Todd Kelley says city police want to know which one of them fired two shots at an officer during a foot pursuit following a traffic stop early Sunday morning in a residential area of Ashland…

For now…both Joliff and Halley are charged with fleeing and evading, along with wanton endangerment.  They could also be charged with the attempted murder of an Ashland police officer.  Joliff and Halley are being held in the Boyd County Detention Center.
